The final piece was saved for the youngest person in the room. The puzzle pieces covered almost every inch of the table. They began with the corners and worked along the edges. A patch of blue could belong to either the sea or the sky. Sometimes the right piece appeared only after a short break. The time was 4:30; there was still room for one more attempt. The simplest part of the plan proved the most useful.
